St. James Plantation offers something for all of the important people in your life, no matter their age. Most children have a natural curiosity about water and wildlife. When my grandchildren visit St. James, we engage in many activities to satisfy that innate curiosity. The Intracoastal Waterway is right at your fingertips when you live here, and my favorite little anglers think that it is an excellent fishing spot. Alex and I are happy and very proud of our big catch.
Kayaking is a must-do activity when my grandchildren visit St. James. Not only is kayaking an excellent workout, but it is also a great way to explore the surrounding waterways. Plus, kayaking may be something they otherwise might not have a chance to do. One thing I like most about living here is the opportunity to create special connections and memories with my family.
The beautiful beaches of Oak Island are a short drive from St. James. The sand, surf, and sun provide a great backdrop for play and relaxation. As you can see below, my dearest beach lovers had a great time playing in the water. Don’t forget that the St. James Beach Club is open for the season. Everybody in my family enjoys the pool, showers, restrooms, designated parking, and dining areas during family visits.
I am already looking forward to the next time my grandchildren visit St. James.
